Suzanne Shynkaruk graduated with honours in Advanced Swedish Massage, from the McKay Massage and Hydrotherapy program in 2006.
Since then, Suzanne has worked amongst teams of health care professionals, providing her knowledge of how an integrated approach to wellness can help her clients feel their best. This approach led Suzanne to educate herself on how working with more than just the body’s muscular system, specifically the Fascial, Lymphatic and Neurological systems, could further support this integration.
Suzanne became a Rapid Neuro-Fascial Reset (RNFR) Specialist in 2017. RNFR is a neurologically based, therapeutic technique that along with active movements from the client, addresses the central nervous system’s role in alleviating pain and restrictions within the body. Because of the effectiveness of this technique, any treatment booked with Suzanne with lengths of 45 minutes or less will be done with RNFR. Treatment lengths of 60 to 90 minutes will have an RNFR component along with her usual therapeutic techniques (Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage as well as Myofascial, Trigger Point and Positional Release Techniques)
When not in the clinic Suzanne spends her time with her husband and their two Rhodeisan Ridgebacks. Always at the lake in the summer. When she can she enjoys spending time in the mountains hiking, camping and skiing in the winter.
